Water pollution

  • Water pollution is a major problem globally and is seen as the cause of many deaths and epidemics.
14,000 people a day die directly or indirectly from diseases caused by water pollution. In addition to this, besides the acute problems seen in developing and developed countries, studies are carried out to reduce this pollution.
The concept of water pollution is generally used to describe pollution caused by human factors. However, sometimes as a result of the disturbed balances in some living species, water pollution may occur by other living things. Volcanoes, excessive algae growth, winds and earthquakes are among the causes of naturally occurring water pollution. Apart from these, there are different criteria and different types of pollution in water pollution classifications.
